CV

Mahdie Karbasi was born 1985 in Khoy, Iran. She received the B.Sc. and M.S degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics in 2007 and 2010 respectively, both from Amirkabir University of Technology. Since April 2014, she has joined the ICanHear project as an early stage researcher. She has also been with the Institute of Communication Acoustics (IKA) from April 2014, where she is currently doing a PhD thesis. Her thesis work is mainly related to Speech Intelligibility Assessment using Automatic Speech Recognition Models.
