Seon Man Kim is currently a research fellow (until Oct. 2015) with the ICanHear project at ISVR, University of Southampton.
He was born in Jeonju-si, South Korea in 1978. He received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Design Engineering from Chonbuk National University, Korea, in 2003 and an M.S. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Korea, in 2005. From 2005 to 2007, he was a noise & vibration engineer at the Samsung Electronics, Gwangju, Korea. He received a PhD degree in Information and Communications Engineering from GIST in 2013. In addition, he was a signal processing consultant at University of Southampton from Aug. 2014 to June 2015.

Research Interests

His current research interests involve audio and speech signal processing using multi-microphone techniques, speech intelligibility prediction & enhancement, room acoustic and auditory image models.
